Subject of inspection: five variants of children's cosmetic products under three simultaneous IP licences — Gabby's Dollhouse (DreamWorks Animation / Netflix), Paw Patrol (Nickelodeon / Spin Master) and Little Unicorn. Three item groups:

Group 1 — #8903 (Gabby's) + #8896 (Paw Patrol): Bath Crayons x4 + unicorn-shaped washcloth. Order: 47,000 units. Group 2 — #8903 + #8896 + #8905 (Little Unicorn): Bath Crayons x4 + washcloth. Order: 108,000 units. Group 3 — #8900 (Gabby's) + #8895 (Paw Patrol): Bath set — bubble bath 150ml, bath bomb fizzer 50g, bath salt 110g. Order: 12,000 units.

Total order: 167,000 units. Ready at time of inspection: 160,270 units (96.0%).

Inspection standard: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008, plan G-II. AQL limits: CRI 0 / MAJ 2.5 / MIN 4.0. Sample sizes adjusted to the lot size of each group.

Weight tests (5 units per variant): bath bomb fizzer 55–57g (min 50g) ✓, bubble bath 156–161g (min 150ml) ✓, bath salt 116–120g (min 110g) ✓, bath crayon 4.0–4.5g (min 3.5g) ✓. Function test (dissolution/bubble effect in water): PASS. Barcode scanning: PASS. Outer carton dimensions measured on-site: 39.5×25.2×27.5 cm / 39.8×25.2×28.0 cm / 43.2×25.5×24.5 cm.

AQL results by group: • Group 8903&8896 (sample 225): CRI 0/0, MAJ 3/10, MIN 3/14 — PASS • Group 8903&8896&8905 (sample 517): CRI 0/0, MAJ 0/21, MIN 4/21 — PASS • Group 8900&8895 (sample 58): CRI 0/0, MAJ 0/3, MIN 0/5 — PASS

Defects found (all within AQL limits): colour stain on washcloth 2 MIN, cracked crayon 1 MAJ, broken gift box 1 MAJ, foreign object on crayon pen 1 MAJ, dirty mark on cloth 1 MIN, wrinkled gift box 1 MIN, dirty marks 3 MIN. Total: 3 MAJ, 7 MIN — within limits across all groups.

Three technical tests are pending factory completion prior to shipment: carton drop test (factory refused during inspection), transportation vibration test (no equipment available), and fabric dyeing test from red bath fizzer (white cotton fabric was dyed — factory to correct formula or flag to client). An outer carton label error was also noted: text reads "30g x 4" instead of the correct "3.5g x 4" — factory to rework labels before shipment.

Inspection result: PASS. Workmanship quality across all sampled units is within acceptable limits. Goods approved for shipment following factory completion of the above corrective actions.
