Types of inspections we perform
IPC — Pre-production inspection
Carried out before mass production begins. We verify raw materials and components delivered by the factory — whether they meet the approved specification. Detecting a problem at this stage costs dozens of times less than repairing finished goods.
DUPRO — During-production inspection
Performed when approx. 20–30% of the ordered quantity is complete. Allows detection of deviations from specification before the problem affects the entire batch. If non-conformities are found — the factory has time to correct without delivery delay.
FRI — Final pre-shipment inspection
Full inspection of finished, packaged goods before loading into the container. AQL 2.5 standard: random statistical sample, measurements, functional tests, labelling and packaging control. The shipment decision is yours — not the factory's.
Factory audit
Comprehensive factory assessment before starting cooperation or during an ongoing contract. Covers: production capabilities, quality management system, certificates, working conditions, machine condition, internal control processes. Audit report with APPROVED / CONDITIONAL / NOT APPROVED recommendation.

Photographic documentation of every defect
Every non-conformity is photographed with description and classification (critical / major / minor). Photos are numbered, dated and signed by the inspector. You see exactly what was found — and can make an informed decision.

What does Oriental IMEX do?+
Oriental IMEX organises China imports, manufacturing on order (OEM, private label, production in China), supplier and factory verification, pre-shipment quality inspections (AQL 2.5), certifications and logistics. Key difference: Oriental IMEX acts as the formal client to the Chinese manufacturer — we hold the contract, which provides full transaction security and enforceable post-sale remedies.
What is the difference between Oriental IMEX and a standard agent or broker?+
A standard agent or broker introduces buyer and seller and collects a commission — but the contract is directly between the European buyer and the Chinese factory. Oriental IMEX enters the transaction as the formal client to the factory. This means: (1) the factory treats our quality and specification requirements as binding; (2) we can withhold payment or demand rework if quality fails; (3) the European client is protected by our contractual position. In practice, factories offer better pricing, faster turnaround and more accountability to known repeat buyers like Oriental IMEX than to unknown one-time European importers.
