Pre-shipment Inspection: Licensed Bath Bombs Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig & Gabby's Dollhouse — 114,476 units, 7 variants | October 2026 | PASS
Report No. OIS20261009PSI-01. Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) conducted on 9 October 2026 at a factory in China. Inspector: Colin.
Subject of inspection: licensed fizzing bath bombs for children in seven variants. Five 165 g variants: Paw Patrol Chase (blackberry), Paw Patrol Skye (raspberry), Peppa Pig (raspberry), Gabby's Dollhouse (raspberry) and Gabby's Dollhouse (silver mango). Two 5×20 g paw-shaped sets: Gabby's Dollhouse (rose) and Paw Patrol (blackberry). Licences: Nickelodeon, Hasbro/eOne and DreamWorks/Netflix.
Quantity: 114,476 units (85,280 pieces of 165 g and 29,196 sets of 5×20 g), 3,476 master cartons. Production 100% finished and 100% packed into cartons — the inspection was carried out after full production was complete.
Inspection standard: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 (MIL-STD-105E), plan G-II, normal inspection. AQL limits: CRI 0 / MAJ 2.5 / MIN 4.0. Sample: 500 units in total, distributed proportionally across the seven variants.
On-site tests passed: dissolution test (bombs dissolve within 20 minutes in 38–45°C water), staining test on white cotton fabric, scent check against the reference, barcode and QR scanning, and unit size and weight checks. Packaging was also verified: collector gift boxes, PDQ display units, master cartons and FSC marking.
Defects (every variant within AQL): 0 critical, 3 major (including surface cracks on individual pieces) and 17 minor. For each of the seven variants the defect count stayed below the allowed maximum, and no critical defects were found.
Packing remarks to be resolved before shipment: (1) in the 5×20 g sets the unit packs moved inside the carton — recommendation: add cardboard dividers; (2) the measured gross weight of the 5×20 g master cartons was higher than the printed value; (3) on several variants the gift box artwork differed from the retained samples of the previous shipment and needs confirmation against the client's approved artwork; (4) the carton drop test and transportation test could not be performed on site due to the PDQ packaging and lack of a test machine.
Report status: Pending — this relates only to the packing and documentation items above, not to product quality. AQL workmanship result: PASS. The remarks are resolved before shipment, and goods ship after client approval.
