Subject of inspection: five variants of children's 50ml perfumes under four IP licences. This is one of the most complex product inspections in terms of SKU count — each variant has a different bottle shape, colour and licensor artwork, requiring individual visual assessment for each item code.

Inspection standard: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008, plan G-II. Sample: 500 units. AQL limits: CRI 0 / MAJ 1.5 / MIN 4.0.

The inspection scope included perfume volume verification — the inspector poured the contents into a graduated cylinder and confirmed 50ml for each variant. Smell test was marked Pending due to the absence of reference samples from the manufacturer. Function test (500 units): PASS. Barcode scanning: PASS. Carton dimensions and weight (~54×28×26 cm, ~12.9 kg): PASS.

Two tests remained Pending due to factory-side issues: drop test (refused — PDQ packaging), transportation test (no equipment). Inspectors also noted the absence of cardboard dividers inside master cartons — recommendation passed to the client.

Defects by item: poor plastic sealing (1 MIN), dirty marks (4 MIN), broken colour box (4 MIN), scuffing/scratches (2 MIN), dust inside film (1 MIN), poor lid (1 MAJ). Total: 1 MAJ / max 14, 11 MIN / max 21.

AQL result: PASS across all categories. Goods approved for shipment.
