Subject of inspection: Paw Patrol & Gabby's Dollhouse 4PK Lip Gloss — a set of four children's lip glosses simultaneously carrying two IP licences: Paw Patrol (Nickelodeon / Spin Master) and Gabby's Dollhouse (DreamWorks Animation / Netflix). Each set contains 4 units in purple, pink, orange and sky blue. Minimum lip balm content: 2.8g per unit. Order: 90,336 sets (958 cartons). Ready for inspection: 82,204 sets (90.1%).

Inspection standard: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008, plan G-II. Sample: 500 units — an enlarged sample for this batch, reflecting the licensor's requirements. AQL limits: CRI 0 / MAJ 1.5 / MIN 4.0.

A dual licence on one product is a special situation: each set had to satisfy artwork requirements from both Nickelodeon and DreamWorks, meaning separate verification of graphics, colour matching and logo placement for both IP owners.

The inspection confirmed the availability of factory approval samples (without customer signature or seal) and a comparative smell test was conducted against the factory's samples. Lip balm weight test: 4 colours, 5 measurements each — results 3.0–3.2g, all above the 2.8g minimum. Function test (500 units): PASS. Barcode scanning: PASS. Carton dimensions: PASS.

Two tests remained Pending: drop test (refused — PDQ) and transportation test (no equipment).

Defects found: gap/looseness in product 1 MAJ, dirty marks 3 MAJ, scratch marks 2 MIN, glue marks 7 MIN. Total: 4 MAJ / max 14, 9 MIN / max 21. Zero critical defects.

AQL result: PASS across all categories. Goods approved for shipment.
