Post-production Inspection: Luxury Bathroom Fittings with Natural Stone Elements

Oriental IMEX conducted a post-production inspection of a luxury bathroom fittings collection combining brass bodies in gold PVD and rose gold finishes with natural stone handles — honey onyx, green jade and white marble ceramic — produced for a European interior design client.

The collection covered several product families: single-lever basin mixers in a minimalist brushed gold finish, traditional three-hole bath and shower sets with porcelain HOT / COLD medallions in gold and rose gold, and premium single-lever mixers with full natural stone handles in onyx (amber) and jade (cream-green).

Inspection scope at the factory covered visual assessment of PVD coating uniformity and adhesion, verification that stone handles showed no cracks, colour deviations or surface defects, functional testing of ceramic cartridges and diverter mechanisms, and review of packaging — each faucet in a custom-cut foam insert designed to prevent movement and surface contact during transit.

The stone handle variants required particular attention: natural onyx and jade are inherently variable materials. Inspectors reviewed colour and veining consistency within each batch and confirmed compliance with the approved samples held by the client.

Inspection result: PASS. The shipment was cleared for loading following formal client confirmation of the inspection report, delivered within 24 hours.
